Cream and Black Thinking of You

I got a chance to use my Anna Griffin Beribboned Frames dies and her stamps this weekend. Love how this card turned out.

Challenging myself

I've decided to make something everyday and post it here. Wish me luck.

Two cards today - lots of die cutting and embossing, which has quickly become favorites to do.

Cream and Gold card

This card is fairly simple...embossing, stamped flowers that I cut, and a few die cuts, but I think all combined it created a striking effect. I really like the look of it.

Hello card

I've been making quite a few cards lately. This one I used an Anna Griffin die, my new Anna Griffin mix and match embossing folder, Webster's Pages/Allison Creft stamp, and SU Flower Fair dies.

Sympathy Cards

I am so glad I bought the Anna Griffin card kit. It has made it fast and easy to create adult cards when I need them.

I had to make two sympathy cards for my mom over the weekend and my kit and some other AG items from my stash pulled it all together. I am especially loving the Anna Griffin embossing folders.

Tip Time with Kiwi Lane and MME!

Today on the Kiwi Lane Designs Blog I am sharing part two of my mini series on layered elements for pages. I will be focusing on layered borders with dimension. With bright and fun papers from My Mind's Eye My Girl line and the Scallops, Brackets, and Accents designer templates I created a layout and a premade border strip. Be sure to stop by the blog and check it. Then head over to the My Mind's Eye Facebook page and show them some love too.

April Kiwi Lane Blog Hop

My first experience using Kiwi Lane Designs templates was last summer. I bought the complete set of mini templates at an expo and that night I used the designer templates to create a 8" album for my mother-in-law's birthday party. That night at a crop I completed practically and entire album. The creation process was so much easier with the templates and I was finally able to complete the book. When I gave my mother-in-law the album she loved it, especially the pages I used the Kiwi Lane templates on. I was hooked after that.

Now many templates later I am still hooked and I am using them to create my pages of my mother-in-law's birthday party. Using the Anna Griffin Maude Asbury line and the Chestnut Drive borders 1A and 3B (also used 1" strips), I made this two page spread with a few pics of the party.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment, here and on all the blogs in our hop, to
get a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to use at Kiwi Lane Designs. Good Luck!

Swap Pages

Sharing a few pages I made for a swap on 2peas. Using my Kiwi Lane Designs templates helped these pages come together so easily. I think I might attempt making a complete pre-made album for a gift some time this year. It seems definitely doable using the designer templates.

Mini Album Swap

I am currently working on a holiday mini for a swap, but I just remembered I never shared the mini I made for a summer album swap.

I chose to use this brightly colored Mango Frost DCWV paper that was completely out of my comfort zone. The mini had chipboard covers and 6x6 page protectors inside. I used my KLD templates (card sized) throughout the book.

Project Life 4x6 cards

I signed up for a 4x6 card block swap on Splitcoast Stampers. These little cards were so much fun to make and they will come in handy for Project Life scrapping or quick pages. I used my Kiwi Lane templates (the card bundle & tiny accessories) which made it all come together so easily.

Supplies: paper - MME, K&Co, American Crafts; rhinestones - Wanna Scrap; stamps - Ali Edwards for Technique Tuesday, Unity Stamp Co., CTMH; flowers - Prima Marketing, inks - Memento, Prima Chalk inks, Colorbox cat's eye ink

Perfect Glimmer Mist Storage

When I first saw the informercial for the Swivel Store I knew I had to have it. I thought it would be the perfect solution for my glimmer mists. My local Walmart had them in stock, so I didn't have to order it. It works wonderfully.

I made a video showing all the details.

Cricut Messageboard swap album for Lisa

Just wanted to share the mini I made for Lisa from our Cricut messageboard swap. She just had a baby and I am hoping she can use this mini to put pictures of her in it.  I used tons of swirls and handmade flowers that I made using my cricut in this one. Did a video too...

A long time coming

I haven't done a page of myself and Joe in so long. I think the last ones I did were wedding pictures. Could be because there are very few pictures of us in existence where we are both together. This one took far too long, but I think it came out pretty good.

supplies: Flowers - Prima; cardstock - Bazzill and CTMH, stamps - Inkadinkado and 7Gypsies; pattern paper - CTMH; ink and markers - CTMH and Sakura, diecut paper - KI; ribbon - offray; brads - oriental trading; tools - Cricut (wild card cartridge)
